A friendly reminder to all faculty, staff, and student researchers who plan to conduct research involving human subjects this summer, your work must be approved by the IRB.
If you plan to conduct human subjects research this summer, let the IRB know (irb@allegheny.edu). Knowing how many proposals must be reviewed and when allows the IRB to plan. The IRB would appreciate it if all proposals for summer research were submitted in May (early June at the latest).
The IRB is happy to consult with researchers before submission of a proposal. Contact the IRB if you have questions or would like assistance completing your proposal (irb@allegheny.edu).
