Join the Allegheny College Chemistry Department Monday evening in Ford Chapel at 7:30 pm for an engaging public lecture with Distinguished Prof. Richard Silverman of Northwestern University.
He will discuss the trials and tribulations of drug discovery and how blockbuster drugs come from the lab to the market. Prof. Silverman is single-handedly responsible for the drug Lyrica, which has been used to treat millions of people worldwide. This event is made possible by the Lord Charitable Trust.
