Neff Publishes Paper in “Biological Conservation”

Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Mark Neff recently published a paper with Brendon Larson (University of Waterloo, Ontario) in Biological Conservation exploring the limitations of science in settling a conservation biology dispute about a climate change adaptation strategy. Their research reveals that an ongoing dispute in the conservation biology literature about assisted colonization is fundamentally a disagreement about policy process and ethical values, and therefore is not amenable to resolution via further scientific research.
