Neuherz, Marks Receive Awards at Collegiate Personal Financial Planning Competition

Emily Neuherz ’16 and Alex Marks ’16 received awards for their entries in the CFA Society of Pittsburgh’s 2015-2016 Collegiate Personal Financial Planning Competition. With students from nine colleges competing, Emily placed 8th (in the top 5 percent of entries), winning a $250 cash prize, and Alex received a Certificate of Achievement. To enter the competition, Emily and Alex submitted five-page comprehensive financial plans with goals for one, three, and five years after college graduation, demonstrating significant preparation for the financial realities of life after college and ownership in their financial futures.
