Beth Choate’s research has included studies on the life history and movement of the Eastern Tent Caterpillar, the role of predaceous ants throughout Maine lowbush blueberry fields and ant species diversity throughout lowbush blueberry fields, and the role of non-prey foods throughout wheat agroecosystems. She is currently conducting research with students to provide baseline data on the terrestrial insect diversity throughout the Bousson Environmental Research Reserve.
