Benjamin Haywood has served as an assistant professor of environmental science at Allegheny College since August of 2014. His research interests are in nature-society geography and the role of affect and emotion in human-environment interactions as well as avian ecology and ethno-ornithology. Some of Haywood’s recent work has been published in Conservation Biology, Public Understanding of Science, Science Education, and the International Journal of Science Education Part B.
