Michael Keeley joined the Allegheny faculty in the fall of 1987. His primary areas of interest are documentary production, video studies, and broadcast and film history. His most recent media projects include, “Neighbor Kids Academy”, a short documentary on a program that introduces low income and at-risk children to the arts, “The Summer Music Festival at Allegheny College”, a short documentary that highlights the festival and emphasizes the importance of music in education and society, and “The Quiet Northwest”, a short promotional documentary that promotes tourism in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
