Barbara Riess has written and can speak extensively on 20th-century Latin American culture, literature of the Cuban Revolution, Latin American women’s literature, translation studies, and feminist and postmodern debates. She is currently working on a book manuscript, “Bodies of Work: Fifty Years of Women’s Fiction from the Island.”
