Barbara Riess has written and can speak extensively on foreign language learning in the U.S., literature of the Cuban Revolution, Latin American women’s literature, translation studies, and feminist and postmodern debates. She is currently working on a book manuscript, “Bodies of Work: Fifty Years of Women’s Fiction from the Island.”
