Planetary health learning objectives: foundational knowledge for global health education in an era of climate change

In collaboration with experts from around the globe, Professor Caryl Waggett co-authored an article aimed at setting foundational learning objectives for planetary health. Planetary health refers to the interconnected human and ecological health as impacted by major boundaries (atmospheric carbon dioxide as a metric of climate change, persistent plastics, nitrogen and phosphorus loading, fresh water availability, stratospheric ozone, etc.). These learning objectives provide a basis for which we expect students (undergraduate through professional schools) to understand.
