Hatch Speaks to Pitt Journalists, Allegheny Students Tour Post-Gazette

Visiting Assistant Professor Cheryl Hatch spoke at the University of Pittsburgh on November 12. Cindy Skrzycki invited Hatch to speak to students in her Great Modern Journalists class about Great Female Correspondents at the Front. Hatch brought Allegheny students from their News Writing and We’ve Got the Beat courses with her for a field trip.

Hatch’s Photographs to be Included in Children’s Book

Three photographs by Visiting Assistant Professor Cheryl Hatch will be included in a children’s book, tentatively titled “The Next Wave,” by Elizabeth Rusch, scheduled for publication by Houghton Mifflin in 2014. The book is about Dr. Annette von Jouanne, a professor and electrical engineer whose work focuses on wave energy.
