Join this unique Spring Break EL as we travel to Washington D.C., Krakow Poland, and Berlin Germany to visit remnants of the Krakow ghetto, Auschwitz death camp and Sachsenhausen concentration camp as well as the United States Holocaust Museum, the Berlin Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and Libeskind’s Jewish Museum. We investigate attempts to memorialize devastating and traumatic historical events plaguing our recent experience, particularly The Shoah or Holocaust.
