Gator Week of Welcome is a week-long event at Allegheny College that combines academic and social programming to help new and returning students kick off the new academic year.

10:00 am - 5:00 pm | PNC Bank Representatives Gator Quad For your convenience, PNC Bank will be on campus during move-in to help you open your student checking account. PNC Bank’s Student Virtual Wallet checking account has many great features, including no minimum balance and no monthly fee for six years. PNC’s branch is located right down the street from campus. To open an account, a student will need two forms of ID and their social security number. |

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm | Welcome Lunch for New Students of Color and First Generation Students Tillotson Room, Tippie Alumni Center The welcome lunch provides students (and families) with an opportunity to hear from Allegheny community members that may share similar experiences such as going away to college, adjusting to a new town, or tips for culture shock. Establishing relationships is an essential part of adjusting to a new environment and we look to do just that amongst our communities of color and first generation students at Allegheny College. No experience is necessary, and both groups and single participants are welcome to sign up. This is a fun way to meet people during your first week on campus! Brooks Dining Hall
Brooks is our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall on campus. Featuring a unique mix of stations to please everyone, including our True Balance allergen-friendly station. Brooks uses your meal swipes, one swipe per entry. Brooks is open for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

McKinley’s Food Court (inside the Campus Center)
McKinley’s is your own campus food court featuring five unique stations. Bowls rotate between pasta and potato bowls. Bento is our national brand Asian station featuring station, noodles, and rice bowls. Flipped and Fried is our traditional grill station serving all your favorites. The Fire Place offers pizza and rolls and Smart Plate offers salads, bowls, and smoothies. Use your Munch Money at McKinley’s and make sure to download the GrubHub app for mobile ordering. All stations are available on mobile ordering or in-person ordering.

We have two food markets on campus. Pine Market (located upstairs from Brooks) and AC Express (located within McKinley’s Food Court). Each market is unique and offers a variety of “On the Go” snacks and meals, Grocery-style Items, Bottled Beverages, Local Coffee, Homemade pastries, and much more.
