As a double major in International Studies and French, George Castellon Castillo is no stranger to a heavy workload. On top of his studies, he also participates in College Democrats, the Law and Policy Program, Allegheny Men’s Lacrosse Club, Brother 2 Brother, the Access Allegheny Program, and Service Saturdays.
“With the pre-law path Allegheny offers, I hope to achieve the most knowledge and preparedness to attend Law School after graduation from Allegheny,” Castillo says. The Pre-Legal program as well as the Law and Policy Program both contribute greatly toward furthering his developing career.
In addition to those programs on campus, Castillo has been supported at Allegheny through the Allegheny Alumni Scholar Award and Allegheny Grant. He also has discovered the numerous resources for assistance on campus through Career Services and the Pelletier Learning Center. In his courses, he has found the benefit in gaining close relationships with his professors and advisors.
“I chose Allegheny because of the close relationship students have with Allegheny professors and the care with which they teach material in class, and being an actual student has been fulfilling because it has been supportive to my college learning experience.”
