As part of our commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive campus, we have developed The First 6 Weeks Initiative, designed to help new students transition smoothly into the academic and social life of our community. During this crucial period, we offer a range of events, workshops, and support services aimed at fostering connections, building essential skills, and ensuring students feel welcomed and empowered. From orientation sessions to social mixers and academic resources, the First 6 Weeks Initiative provides a comprehensive and engaging introduction to campus life, setting the foundation for a successful college experience. This initiative is a collaborative effort put on by Student Life, Student Success, the Center for Career & Professional Development, Wellness, Spiritual and Religious Life, academic areas, and the Meadville community.
