Purpose: JaDE is a student-run dance group which performs in contemporary and jazz styles linked with the Dance and Movement Studies Department at Allegheny. Weekly practices are held, focusing heavily on strong technique, throughout the academic year. JaDE also hosts and participates in a number of events around campus and the Meadville community, including the Cookies and Milk Concert, Halloween Parade, and JaDE Benefit. JaDE’s philanthropy is the Crawford County Special Olympics. The greater part of the Spring Semester is spent fundraising and creating a performance for the JaDE benefit Concert, from which all proceeds benefit the Crawford County Special Olympics.
Meeting Time: Wednesdays 9:00 pm-11:00 pm in Montgomery and Sundays 4:00 pm-6:00 pm in the Wise Center Dance Studio.
