Purpose: The SAPR chapter at Allegheny is a recently formed chapter, which has ties to a national SAPR organization. The Allegheny College chapter’s main goals are to promote awareness of injustices in our criminal justice system, and to support initiatives to bring about change in the U.S. criminal justice system. SAPR also strives to foster discussion about these issues and educate the Allegheny College community on different aspects of the U.S. criminal system.
