Wind Symphony

Purpose: The Allegheny College Wind Symphony (Music 112) is a symphonic band of approximately 100 musicians. Membership is open by audition to all Allegheny students, regardless of academic major. The Wind Symphony performs one campus concert each semester, and serves as the parent ensemble for many of the instrumental chamber ensembles (Music 120s). Rehearsals take place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:20. The Wind Symphony is active both semesters, and carries one semester hour of academic credit.
