Animal Welfare of Allegheny

Purpose: AWA allows students who are passionate about animals to come together and bond through acts of service. The club also provides educational experiences to teach students about animals, like reptiles and insects, in order to change the negative narrative they are sometimes given. Some organizations AWA has worked with in the past are the Crawford County Humane Society, Bark Park, Nate’s Reptile Expo, and Cupid’s and Canines. In the past, AWA has also trained service animals.
