Day-Long Festival Celebrating All-things Meadville
Saturday, April 30, 10am – 9pm
Downtown Mall

The MNC has put together an awesome line-up of local bands and musicians. Performing on the Downtown Mall stage, this lineup is sure to please the crowd! Contact Lee Scandinaro at for more information.

10am – 2pm
The Meadville Time Trade, our local time bank, will host a Sharefest! Bring a gently-used item (no clothes, please) to give away and take an item that you want or need….for FREE.  The event will also feature “member exhibits” where Time Trade members can share their Time Trade offerings.  For more information, contact Barb Newcamp at

10am – 4pm
The Meadville Area Middle School is bringing together several local authors for a book signing and kids’ story time. Authors include Carolyn Brown, Todd McClimans, Christopher Bakken, Nancy Williams, and Lauren Mattocks Steinbeck. The event will also include art activities for kids and will feature the artwork of Ms. Brown’s students! Contact Carolyn Brown at for more information.


Local Vendors by Second Saturday Community Markets

10am – 9pm
From 10am – 9pm, the Second Saturday Community Markets will bring a variety of local vendors to the Downtown Mall! Vendors include Voodoo Brewery, FieldRock Custom Designs, Alex’s Puzzles, Kat’s Krafty Korner, Junk & Colee, Cortese Creations, Simple Goods, Infinity Scarves and Necklaces by Joyce, Faith Grace Designs,  Handcrafted Jewelry by Marlene, and more!. A Town for Us follows Lilah, an agriculturalist and mother of two, and Lindsey, president of a manufacturing plant, as they struggle to find a sense of security during a troubling time. Exploring the stories told by Meadville citizens this past fall, A Town for Us examines the meaning of home, community, and empowerment.
