Student Art Society

SAS, the Student Art Society of Allegheny College engages in a number of art related activities each year. Membership is open to any Allegheny College student with an interest in the visual arts. President, Caitlyn Thompkins (2024-2025) at thompkins01@allegheny.edu. Faculty Advisor Paula Burleigh (Assistant Prof. of Art History).

Activities of SAS have included a sidewalk chalking contest and live music from guest bands, field trips to art galleries and museums and sales of student artwork. SAS also participates in a number of activities planned by other organizations including the March Month of Service, Springfest, and Earth Day.

Clay Club

The Clay Club’s goal is to provide opportunity to all students of Allegheny College to be involved in the arts and to express themselves creatively through the medium of clay.
