Single Voice Reading Series Continues with Two Poets

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Feb. 25, 2011 – Poets Keith Montesano and Robert Murphy will read from their works on Thursday, March 10 at 8 p.m. in the Tippie Alumni Center at Allegheny College. The free public presentation is part of the college’s Single Voice Reading Series.

Montesano is the author of the poetry collection “Ghost Lights,” published by Dream Horse Press. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Third Coast, Blackbird, Crab Orchard Review and Ninth Letter.

A Ph.D. candidate in English and creative writing at Binghamton University, Montesano graduated from Allegheny College in 2004.

Robert Murphy is the author of “Life in the Ordovician: Selected Poems.”  His work has appeared in Smartish-Pace, Colorado Review and Notre Dame Review.

Murphy, who graduated from Allegheny in 1970, is the executive editor and publisher of Cincinnati-based Dos Madres Press.
