The Scholarship Mentoring Program at Allegheny College has identified scholarship opportunities for Allegheny students who have achieved exceptional academic records, and those who have otherwise distinguished themselves through campus activities. For more information about the scope of each award, eligibility criteria, and application procedures please visit the ACCEL Office in Reis Hall. In every case, the opportunities that these scholarships offer are potentially transformative. They have a habit of changing the recipients’ lives.
Some of the scholarships listed are for study in the U.S.—far more are for study abroad. Some scholarships fund undergraduates—far more fund graduates who are interested in pursuing advanced degrees.
Each scholarship is clearly designated for on-campus or off-campus availability and for undergraduates or post-undergraduates (or, in some cases, both). Wherever possible, we will provide you with a website from which you may gather further information. In some cases, students may apply directly to the funding organization. In others, students must undergo a screening and nominating process at Allegheny. Specific instructions are noted for each scholarship entry.
