Associate Dean, Inclusive ExcellenceBiographical Information
Dom Turner is the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Allegheny College. In this role he develops and implements strategies to support and retain students from historically underrepresented populations. Dom is a Ph.D. candidate in the Higher Education Administration program at Morgan State University and a Lifeways of Hope Fellow with the Center for Religion and Cities. As an interdisciplinary scholar, he researches the historical development of church-related colleges and Black male scholar development. Dom is a proud first-generation college student, a native of Prince George’s County Maryland, and earned both his master’s degree in public administration and undergraduate degree in government from Bowie State University.
