Part-Time Instructor of Psychology – Fall 2025
Allegheny College, a selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for a part-time instructor in the Department of Psychology to teach an introductory course during the Fall 2025 semester—either Psych 162: Social Psychology or Psych 164: Cognitive Psychology. These foundational courses are part of the department’s core offerings and serve both majors and non-majors.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate psychology and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, student-centered pedagogy. A Master’s degree in psychology or a related field is required; Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred. The ability to foster an engaging classroom environment that supports the liberal arts mission of the College is essential.
