Sample Schedules
The following sample schedules are meant to be used as guidelines in developing the pre-health student’s schedule. There is no one “right way”, but rather there are many ways that a student can schedule the pre-health core curriculum with any desired major or experience. Please use the following information to help put together an appropriate schedule. Recommendations are based on taking three years to complete requirements. It is certainly an option to take all four years to accomplish this goal; the student would apply to the professional school after graduation. Please note that the specific courses included apply to most health professional programs. There may be additional requirements, and the student should consult the Advising and Requirements page for a complete set of requirements. Students are strongly encouraged to seek advice from their academic advisor as well as from Ms Peterson, Health Professions Advisor.

4. Students Considering Study Abroad
- Cologne, Germany Program only: Students study abroad in their sophomore year and must plan accordingly.
- All Study Abroad Programs Except Cologne, Germany: Students study abroad during their junior year. Either semester works, but students should consider their testing requirements as well as their course work when deciding which semester they prefer.
