Shuttle Transportation

Transportation is offered to/from the Pittsburgh airport for all breaks and to/from the Pittsburgh Megabus stop located at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center for the majority of breaks. New this year, a few shuttles have been added to/from the Cleveland airport. For other transportation needs, please refer to the Alternative Transportation Options listed below.

Officially Licensed Shuttle Provider

Pittsburgh Shuttles are provided by Campbell Bus Lines (1-724-794-2440). Reservations are accepted through the on-line reservation service listed above until three business days prior to the shuttle. If the shuttle has seats remaining, Campbell Bus Company will accept additional reservations directly at a cost of $50. The airport pick-up location for Pittsburgh shuttles is at the baggage claim department near the Hertz Rental Car counter. The driver will have an Allegheny College sign.

Cleveland Shuttles will be provided this year at the end of fall semester and at the beginning and end of spring semester. Due to the close proximity of fall semester, shuttles are not available for beginning of fall semester return to campus, however will be added next year. Cleveland shuttles will be provided by Allegheny College. Reservations are accepted through the on-line reservation service listed above until three business days prior to the shuttle.

Allegheny College Ride Board
The Allegheny College Ride Board is a forum where Allegheny students may post requests for rides that are needed and also for rides they are offering. The Ride Board is located outside of Student Leadership & Involvement.
Airport Orbit , Inc. (Pittsburgh Only)
Based in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Door-to-Door 24/7, 365 Days a Year, Booking Hours Weekdays 9am-5pm EST 1-877-247-6724, (after 5 pm call 1-724-290-6693) Pittsburgh International Airport & Downtown Bus and Rail Stations and State-wide Car Service, Airport Transfer costs approximately $117.00. (Lower rates with 2-6 passengers)
The Greyhound Bus Station is located in the Downtown Mall at 900 Water Street, Meadville. The local Greyhound office may be contacted at (814) 724-5423.

Metro Taxi

Located in Meadville, Metro Taxi is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Metro Taxi does not accept credit cards at this time. The Campus Center has an ATM for cash withdrawals. Riders can share cost of ride, fees are assessed by the meter reading. 1-814-282-9695

CATA: Crawford Area Transportation Authority
Local transportation only. Contracted by Allegheny Student Government as “the Loop,” CATA also has a full schedule and stops available on their website. Students will be able to ride by simply showing the driver their student ID.
