Shuttle Transportation

Transportation is offered to/from the Pittsburgh airport for all breaks. The Megabus pickup/drop-off is located at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. For other transportation needs, please refer to the Alternative Transportation Options listed below. The listed times are Eastern Standard Time.

Shuttle Schedule: 

SPRING SEMESTER 2023                                                                                               

Spring Break:                                                                                                                              
Fri. March 3: depart Allegheny at noon                             
Sat. March 4: depart Allegheny at 7:00 am, to airport then Megabus
Sat. March 4: depart Allegheny at noon                                                                             

Sat. March 11: pick up at PIT airport at 7:30 pm                                                                    
Sun. March 12: pick up at PIT airport at 2:00 pm                                                                       
Sun. March 12: pick up at PIT airport at 7:30 pm, then Megabus

End of Spring Semester
Sat. May 6: depart Allegheny at 8:00 am
Tues. May 9: depart Allegheny at 8:00 am
Wed. May 10: depart Allegheny at 7:00 am, then Megabus     

Officially Licensed Shuttle Provider: Pittsburgh Shuttles are provided by Campbell Bus Lines. If seats are available after the college’s online registration has closed, reservations can be made directly with Campbell Bus Lines by calling (724) 794-2440. Walk on reservations at the airport are not permitted. The airport pick-up location for Pittsburgh shuttles is at the baggage claim department near the Hertz Rental Car counter. The driver will have an Allegheny College sign.


Alternative Transportation Options: 

Uber: Download the Uber app for availability in the Meadville area.
Greyhound Bus: The Greyhound Bus Station is located in the Downtown Mall at 900 Water Street, Meadville. The local Greyhound office may be contacted at (814) 724-5423.

CATA: Crawford Area Transportation Authority
Local transportation only. Contracted by Allegheny Student Government as “the Loop,” CATA also has a full schedule and stops available on their website. Students will be able to ride by simply showing the driver their student ID.
