From the viewpoint of our audiences — students, alumni, parents, and friends — College departments and offices represent the College as a whole first and foremost. Because they operate under the parent umbrella of the College, a system has been developed to identify departments and offices by adding their details to the right of or below the College wordmark (samples below).
These custom logos require the application of proper College typefaces and contextual size relationships to maintain the integrity of the College identity, and they will be provided by the Office of College Relations upon request. No office should attempt to create or recreate their logo.

Color
Department and office logos should be reproduced using Allegheny’s core colors: Bold Gold or AC Blue. Because the logos will appear in different media, which reproduce color differently, several color formulas are approved and are defined in our color palette.
