Gretchen Barbera (4th Year)

Gretchen is an Environmental Science major and an English minor. On campus, she is a captain of the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse team as well as a sister of Alpha Chi Omega. Gretchen loves hiking, running, swimming, and traveling. In her third year at Allegheny, she went abroad to Queensland Australia where she studied on the Great Barrier Reef! You can usually find Gretchen on campus playing around in the Carrden or on the basement floor of the library.

Isabella Petitta (4th Year)

Isabella Petitta, Bella, is an Environmental Science major with Biology and Psychology double minor. She is a brother of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and a member of Positive Deviance and Allegheny Food Rescue. Bella enjoys spending time outside, especially hiking but usually ends up spending more time standing because she loves to identify native plants and fungi. She participated with Creek Connections in middle school and loved it!

Robin Forsha (3rd Year)

Robin is an Environmental Science and Sustainability major with a Biology minor. At Allegheny she is involved with Bird Club and the Club Ultimate Frisbee Team. She likes to do anything outdoors, but some of her favorite activities are hiking, kayaking, and looking for amphibians. She thinks all streamside critters are cool, but frogs and salamanders are the best! She had a great time attending Creek Camp in highschool and is super happy to be working with Creek Connections now!

Madison Sherman (3rd Year)

Madi is an Environmental Science major and Communications Arts minor. She is a volunteer firefigher and is involved with Outing Club and theater. She enjoys outdoor activities, listening to music, and spending time with her friends. She is very happy to be at Allegheny and to be working for Creek Connections.

Kinsley Greenlaw (2nd Year)

Kinsley is a Biology and Global Health double major on the pre-med track. She is involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Allegheny Christian Outreach, and is also on the varsity Women’s Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams. Kinsley loves the outdoors and some of her favorite things to do are hiking, traveling, kayaking, and her all time favorite thing to do is find her favorite amphibian- Salamanders! Her favorite salamander is the Northern Red Salamander. She is very excited to be in her second year at both Allegheny and Creek Connections!

Eva Kerr (2nd Year)

I am planning to study environmental science and biology, specifically marine sciences. Fun fact, my first word was ocean! My biggest goal while being at Allegheny is to see a hellbender and my second goal is to graduate! I am excited to be a Creeker so I can help foster a positive and educated relationship between water resources and kids. My biggest fear while being a Creeker is that I will be shorter than all the students.

Kaitlyn Royal (1st Year)

Kaitlyn Royal is an Environmental Science and Biology double major. She loves being outdoors and enjoying nature. Kayaking, boating, and hiking are some of her favorite pastimes. Her favorite streamside critter is the cedar waxwing, which she commonly sees while kayaking down French Creek. After being in the Creek Connections program in middle school, she knew that when she came to Allegheny, she wanted to become a Creeker!

Bianca Sanchez (1st Year)

Bianca is an Environmental Science major and Political Science minor. On campus, she works with the Vote Everywhere organization and hopes to join the Green SOCs. She loves to go hiking, swimming, fishing, and photographing nature. She loves being outdoors especially painting outdoor sceneries of nature. After graduating from Allegheny, she hopes to travel around the world and conduct water research as a hydrologist. She loves working with Creek Connections and is excited to work with French Creek critters and children. :)
