ROLE TITLE: Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics

POSITION REPORTS TO: Mathematics Department

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Department of Mathematics at Allegheny College invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics. The vacancy is for a two-year replacement position beginning in August 2025, and ideal candidates will have experience and success in teaching mathematics. The teaching load is six courses per academic year (3-3), and opportunities and support for research and scholarly activity are available. A Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field by Fall 2025 is preferred.
