Hollywood Producer Lloyd Segan To Speak At Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa. – April 10, 2009 – Hollywood producer Lloyd Segan, Allegheny class of 1980, will speak in the Gladys Mullenix Black Theatre in the Vukovich Center for Communication Arts on the campus of Allegheny College on Tuesday, April 14.

His lecture, “Youth Marketing and the Evolution of the ABC Network,” will use his current television series, “Greek,” as an example of how the ABC network has shifted its focus in programming to attract young viewers.

Segan’s films include, among others, “Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas,” “Bones,” “The Boondock Saints” and “The Bachelor.” In addition to “Greek,” his television projects include “Dead Zone,” “Wildfire,” “Crossworld” and “Hendrix.”
