Perspectives on Environmental Education

At the Association of Environmental Studies and Sciences meeting in Pittsburgh this June, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Kate Darby, Assistant Professor of English Matt Ferrence, and Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Mark Neff organized and participated in a panel discussion titled “Educating Undergraduates to Navigate Facts and Values When Thinking About the Environment.” At the same conference, Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Shaunna Barnhart organized a set of sessions titled “Flows of Waste” that included presentations by Professors Barnhart and Darby and students Ian Arturo ’14, Sara Schombert ’13, Sarah Morgan ’13, and Max Lindquist ’14.
