Community Wellness Initiative Featured in Handbook of Sustainability Science and Research

Taylor Hinton, program coordinator for the Community Wellness Initiative (CWI), Kerstin Martin, director of the CWI and Carr Hall Garden manager, and Eric Pallant, professor of environmental science, recently published “Teaching Food Security to Low-Income Rural Families in the United States” in the Handbook of Sustainability Science and Research. The article discusses the Community Wellness Initiative’s model for increasing opportunities for food access and education for both youth and adults.
