lunchtime learning: Facebook & Careers in Financial Planning

What: Students of all majors are invited to a special CBE Lunchtime Learning presentation on Careers in Financial Planning. Attend this event to learn more about the pathways to careers in financial planning and the potential opportunities for Allegheny students with distinguished alumni presenters Stuart Armstrong ’81 and Blaine Aikin ’76. Students will have to opportunity to speak with Stuart and Blaine during office hours following this presentation. Resume Doctor
When: Monday, September 10 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Where: Campus Center Lobby
What: Stop in the Campus Center lobby between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10, to have your resume, cover letters, or other documents reviewed by Career Education staff at the Resume Doctor session. Please bring a printed copy.
U.S. Foreign Service Internship
The Department of State will be accepting applications for the U.S. Foreign Service Internship between September 4-11. Potential applicants are encouraged to connect with their local Diplomat in Residence to discuss their interest in this program along with Diplomat Careers.
We are fortunate to have Mr. Dale Giovengo serving as Allegheny College’s Diplomat in Residence this academic year. He will be available Monday, September 3, for questions regarding this internship.
