College to Congress Summer 2019 Internship

College to Congress is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that creates pathways for students
to intern in Congress who otherwise could not afford to do so. Through our comprehensive
program, we aim to disrupt the traditional pipeline of wealthy and connected people filling positions of power in the United States Congress. By empowering the next generation of
passionate and diverse young leaders to kick-start their careers in public service, we get one step closer to creating a Congress that is truly reflective of the beautiful diversity in America.

The application opens on October 1, with a priority deadline of October 31, and a general
deadline of November 30.

Bethesda Youth Outreach

Bethesda Youth Outreach is looking for volunteers who would be willing to work with young mothers and the youth at the group homes. This would be a two-day commitment every week. One day would be activity day so that the mentors can bond with the youth and the other day would be a tutoring day where we would come up with the lesson plan depending on the level that each student is at. If you are interested in mentoring or eventually teaching this would be a great opportunity! Please email me for more information and to set up an interview time: ordunor@allegheny.edu
