We are happy to inform our campus community and guests that today’s Commencement ceremony will be held outdoors on the Bicentennial Plaza.

Please note, the AYA Rites of Passage Ceremony will be held indoors in Shafer Auditorium, Campus Center.

The commencement ceremony will be live-streamed below.
The All-Campus Reception will be held on Brooks Walk following the ceremony.

If there is a chance of inclement weather in the forecast; the ceremony will be held in the Wise Sports & Fitness Center. Further details will be shared if weather conditions develop that impact the event.

The All-Campus Reception will be held on Brooks Walk or in the Campus Center (rain location) following the ceremony.

The ceremony will be live-streamed for family and friends not able to attend in person. Please return to this website on May 13.

Tickets: this information is subject to change.

Tickets are required if the Commencement ceremony is held indoors. Students walking in Commencement will receive five (5) tickets. The ceremony will be simulcast in Shafer Auditorium for friends and family who do not have a ticket; Shafer provides comfortable seating and big-screen viewing of the ceremony.

Ticket pick-up:
ID’s required; tickets will be issued directly to the graduating student. Students must complete the First Destination Survey prior to picking up their tickets.

Honorary Degree Recipients

Andre M. Perry is a Senior Fellow at Brookings Metro, a scholar-in-residence at American University, and a professor of practice of economics at Washington University. He is a nationally known and respected commentator on race, structural inequality, and education.

Kim Tillotson Fleming

Kim Tillotson Fleming is a former Allegheny College trustee and parent, is the Vice-Chair at Baird and previously was the Chairman and CEO of Hefren-Tillotson, a privately held Pittsburgh-based financial planning and investment advisory firm.
