Commencement Will be Held Outdoors

We are happy to inform our campus community that today’s 2pm Commencement will be held outdoors on the Bicentennial Plaza. Congratulations to the Class of 2019!

President Mullen, the faculty, and staff of Allegheny College cordially invite you to attend a weekend steeped in tradition – Commencement 2019 in the 204th year of the College. In addition to the Baccalaureate ceremony on Friday and the Commencement ceremony on Saturday, many events will be planned for graduates and their families.

  • Bicentennial Plaza on Bentley Lawn
  • Tickets: Not Required
  • Closed Circuit Viewing: Schultz Banquet Hall – For those who prefer to sit indoors

Parking
All parking lots will be in use for Commencement. Please see the Commencement parking map (PDF) for parking directions.

Weather / Location
The decision on the location of the Commencement ceremony will be announced online (this site, allegheny.edu, My Allegheny) and in social media (, , ) on the morning of Commencement.

Tickets
All students walking in Commencement need to pick up their Commencement tickets from the Office of Conference and Event Services (Schultz Hall – Room 191) between 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday, May 6 through Thursday, May 9.

Information Packets
No information packets will be mailed. All Commencement information can be found online.
