Voegtly Prize
Awarded to a senior student showing general excellence in the field of Religious Studies. The Voegtly Prize is in honor of Henry J. Voegtly and his commitment to religious life at Allegheny College.

Student Societies
Theta Appha Kappa
Theta Alpha Kappa is the national honor society for Religious Studies and Theology, and Allegheny College has been a member since 2010. TAK publishes a semiannual journal.
The purpose of TAK, as noted in its constitution, is four-fold:
- To encourage excellence in the study of religion at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
- To recognize excellence in scholarly and academic achievements
- To help foster and maintain excellence in the professional academic study of religion
- To help local chapters in their efforts to fulfill these purposes
In order to be eligible, students must have a 3.5 GPA in Religious Studies and at least a 3.0 GPA overall.
