Student-Faculty Research to Leverage Sustainable Change

Students are invaluable partners in the dialogue, research, and activism necessary to create a sustainable campus. Students have transformed campus through courses and independent research projects, designing rain gardens, green walls, and native landscaping. They have installed solar arrays and food production gardens. Students have conducted valuable research resulting in the adoption of sustainable technologies and practices on campus such as geothermal heating and cooling and LEED® certification.
