Undergraduate Speaker Series

The Allegheny College Math Department’s Undergraduate Speaker Series

Since 1972, this speaker series has brought Allegheny students into contact with many nationally and internationally prominent mathematicians.  Currently, the math department is host to a distinguished guest speaker each semester.  The talks are free and open to the public.  They have often drawn audiences from colleges in the surrounding area, from the Allegheny community, and from the Meadville community.  The series is generously supported by the Leila W. Parsons Memorial Lectureship in Mathematics Fund and the William Beazell Memorial Fund.
