For various reasons, students sometimes find it necessary or desirable to interrupt their enrollment at Allegheny College. Review the details of the Leave of Absence and Withdrawal from the college policy on the Academic Bulletin page here.
If a student is considering this they should contact their Class Dean (if you are unsure who your class dean is please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org). Once you meet with your Class Dean they will walk you through the steps that need to be completed.
Returning from a Leave
- If a student is initiating their return from leave Contact Student Success (email@example.com) or your Class Dean.
- Schedule a meeting with your Class Dean (or designee) usually by phone or video call.
- Class Dean (or designee) will work with students to complete the necessary steps for returning to Allegheny.
