Industry Workshops

Allegheny College is committed to our region and the industries and non-profits that lie at the heart of the NWPA economy. The Allegheny Lab for Innovation & Creativity is launching a series of educational opportunities that respond to regional needs by helping employers upskill their workforce affordably and quickly. Over the coming months and years, we will continue to deploy an ecosystem of educational offerings that respond directly to the needs communicated by leaders in our community.

Fundamentals of Business Leadership

Excel Fundamentals

Dates: January 9, 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 13.

Time: 2:30 – 3:30 PM

Students will get an in-depth exploration of Microsoft Excel starting at the foundational level. By the end of the series, students will have substantial understanding of core competencies in Excel with a focus on organizational toolsets. No prior experience required.

Students will learn fundamental skills related to electrical systems in contemporary manufacturing and industrial settings. The workshop will focus on best-practices in setting up effective and efficient manufacturing facilities, and the development of core competencies when working with electrical systems in a manufacturing context.
