Allegheny College is committed to our region and the industries and non-profits that lie at the heart of NWPA. The Allegheny Lab for Innovation & Creativity is launching a series of educational opportunities that respond to regional needs by helping employers upskill their workforce affordably and quickly. Over the coming months and years, we will deploy an ecosystem of educational offerings that respond directly to the needs communicated by leaders in our community.
Starting in the late summer of 2023, we are launching the first of these experiences. Working with industry professionals, we are launching workshops facilitated by Allegheny College that focus on developing skillsets that are vital to our community . See below for more information.
3D Design for Advanced Manufacturing – Solidworks Fundamentals

Description:
Students learn the fundamentals of using industry-standard design software Solidworks for aerospace and advanced manufacturing applications through a series of industry-focused projects and lessons. No prior experience required.
