Fall Semester Timetable

Date Task / Event / Deadline
October-February (Prior Year) Complete a FAFSA – Contact Financial Aid with questions.
June-August Complete Forms – Accessed through Self Service

  1. Insurance Agreement (Required annually)
  2. Student Agreement (Required every semester)
  3. Vehicle Registration (Optional)
  4. Select your meal plan through The Housing Director (THD)
July-August Share access with anyone who helps you manage your billing statement.

  1. Nelnet Campus Commerce – Set up access via Self Service.  Please see Instructions for sharing access to Nelnet.
  2. Self Service Proxy Instructions– Set up a proxy to view statements, account details, and tax documents.
July-August (After You Register) Financial Services generates Fall billing statements. You will receive an email when charges are ready to view. Log into Self Service and view your student billing account and statement.
July-August Make sure you complete all requirements for any pending aid on your billing statement. Contact Financial Aid.
July-August Options for setting up a Payment Plan.
August (Last Monday) Final day to purchase optional tuition insurance.
August 31 Fall semester balance due – Payment Information

Final day to decline Health Care Insurance through United Health Care and have the premium fee removed from the student bill. Decline through the Insurance Form link on Self Service.

September (2nd Week) Late payment fee of $100 applied to all accounts with a past due balance.
September (3rd Week) We apply a registration hold to all past due student accounts with a balance over $1,000.
We apply a transcript hold to all past due student accounts.  Only students with a zero balance will be permitted to receive a transcript.
October 1 Pending aid is removed from your billing account. If you have not followed up on aid, this amount will be added to your balance and will be due immediately.
November Spring class registration begins: Only students with a balance of $1,000 or less will be permitted to register for Spring classes.
December Late payment fee of $150 applied to all accounts with a past due balance.
