Research Instruction Classes

Classroom visits

Librarians will work with faculty to prepare classroom sessions designed to help students develop and reinforce both information literacy and research skills. Presentations are tailored to each course’s level and subject matter.

Ideally, faculty should schedule sessions with Research Instruction Services as they prepare their syllabi. This provides the librarians with ample time to prepare an appropriate session.

The Pelletier classroom is available for classes of up to 15 students, or the librarian can visit the classroom in person.

Research Assistance for Individual Students

Students may also schedule an individual research consultation with a librarian. Librarians work with the student to develop and hone information literacy and research skills, with particular focus on the student’s specific research topic. We encourage faculty to notify Research and Instruction Services if they require a consultation for students in their courses.
