As one of the many laboratories for student learning and exploration, Pelletier Library is offering research awards to celebrate excellence in the research process. The research process is core to a liberal arts education and brings together many of the skills and processes that make up the curriculum of Allegheny College. Students wishing to participate in the competition should submit an essay reflecting on a research assignment that they completed during the 2016-17 academic year. Awards categories include work completed as part of FS201, Junior Seminar or Senior Comp, and collaborative research with a faculty member. Prizes range from $200 to $300.
