All students are welcome to network with alumnus Josh Mandel ’90 and his wife, Michelle Ghilotti Mandel, who live in Los Angeles and work in the marketing/advertising business. RSVP for the various events taking place in the Pelletier Collaboratory and Tippie Alumni Center on March 3 here.

Josh worked in marketing and advertising for more than 20 years since earning a bachelor’s in philosophy from Allegheny and a JD from Hasting Law School at the University of California. He has worked domestically and internationally for Adidas, Nike, HP, Activision, Google, and Beats by Dre. He recently left the agency world to join a multi-platform media company, All Def, founded by Russell Simmons to leverage the cultural power of Hip Hop across film, TV, online content, live events and advertising. Josh will tackle head-on how a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy was crucial preparation for successfully navigating the twists and turns of life after graduation.
Michelle worked for ad agencies and on ad campaigns such as Nike, “got milk?”, Hewlett Packard, Starbucks, Crystal Cruises and Adidas. She has created a branding agency and personal brand that speaks to the authentic branding and success coaching needs of the purpose-driven female entrepreneur. What Michelle Ghilotti Int’l (MGI)stands for in the female entrepreneur space can best be described by its tagline –“Make Happiness Your Business by Creating Your Authentic Brand.”
