The Year of Mindfulness presents Dr. Fred Marshall, chief of the Division of Geriatric Neurology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Marshall will give a talk on Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Schultz East Alcove (note new location) on “Mindfulness and Medicine.”
Through more than a quarter-century of working with patients and families coping with devastating neurological illness, Marshall has witnessed the value of loving kindness, the transformational power of holding a quiet space, and the capacity of each person to find deep solace in beginning again and in letting go.
