“I am sincerely honored to have been selected as the recipient of your scholarship. I am going into my third year at Allegheny College and I am studying Communication Arts and minoring in Political Science. I have recently started to specialize in genocide studies as well as memorialization and commodification of atrocity.
“I hope to graduate a year early and to eventually travel internationally with the hopes of educating at risk youth, and to eventually go to law school to be able to represent immigrants. Allegheny has allowed me to be a more objective thinker and ask critical questions that are needed to be an informed citizen in today’s world.
“Thank you for your generosity, which has allowed me to continue my education at Allegheny. Your scholarship has opened a door and the prospect of a brighter future and will play a key role in shaping me into a successful person in future.
