Make a one-time gift or a payment on a current pledge, or set up monthly or annual donations using our online site. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover credit cards are accepted.
This efficient way to support Allegheny lets you make your gift in regular monthly installments from a credit card or bank account. Some donors choose monthly giving because it enables them to make larger contributions by dividing their gift into manageable monthly increments. Others like the ease of the process and not having to mail a check.

It is possible to wire funds directly from your account to Allegheny’s PNC Bank account for donation to the Annual Fund. Please call (866) 332-3853 for ABA routing and bank account numbers, as well as any additional information you might require.
Interested in gifting your minimum required distribution from your IRA? To do so, the gift must come directly from your traditional IRA to an eligible nonprofit. Contact your IRA administrator and instruct that individual to transfer funds to the charity you designate. Please note:
- You will need Allegheny’s Tax ID: 25-0965212
- Let your administrator know that you would like them to include your name on the check and please let us know if you would like to designate your gift to a specific initiative (Annual Fund, scholarship, music department, athletics etc.) Checks often arrive with no donor identification and plan administrators will not give us that information!
- Gifts must pass through your account by December 31 of each year — please initiate your gifts as soon as possible so as to avoid a year-end bottleneck that may delay their timely arrival.

You can use a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) to make a gift to the College. DAFs are giving vehicles established through a local community foundation or by organizations such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and Vanguard Charitable. Donors can make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, allow assets to grow, and then recommend grants to qualified charities from the fund.
In order to direct a grant from your DAF to Allegheny College, request that the sponsoring organization make a grant to Allegheny College using their online portal or by contacting your advisor. Allegheny College gratefully accepts stock transfers as a way for alumni and friends to support the College’s mission. To facilitate a stock transfer and to make sure you receive proper credit for tax-reporting purposes, it is important that you inform the College, as well as its broker, about the transfer. Please click on the link below to provide the necessary information to the College concerning your intended gift of stock, bonds or securities.
If you are considering a donation of securities, please speak with your broker and have her or him contact one of the brokers for the College. Also, when transferring stock via a broker’s website or in paperwork, please remember to check the box that says, “Release my information” so that the broker can share the gift details with the College.
