This summer I interned at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown, New York, where I helped the Center promote “Liberty Under the Law,” by contributing content to their new website. I worked with Ashley Mulryan and Megan Feeney both juniors at the college, as well. I learned about many of Justice Jackson’s Supreme Court cases and their relevance today as well as the Nuremberg Trials. I wrote an article anticipating the Obergefell v. Hodges decision of same-sex marriage that came before the Supreme Court this summer. I was ecstatic to learn that Justice Kennedy quoted Robert H. Jackson in his opinion, the man that I had spent all summer commemorating!
