Announced earlier this month in the G Suite Updates Blog, the option to start or join Google “Meet-ings” directly from your Gmail inbox is now available.
When you click on Start a meeting, a new window will pop up with a secure, unique URL. When choosing Join a meeting, you will be prompted to enter a meeting code or nickname – which are provided by the organizer. Once you are inside of the meeting, you can invite more participants.
